The AMG1302-T10B/AMG1202-T10B supports three virtual LAN interfaces via
its single physical Ethernet interface. The first network can be configured in
Web Configurator, Advanced Setup,
Network Setting->Home Networking ->
IP Alias
. The second that we call
'IP Alias'
can be configured.
There are two internal virtual LAN interfaces for the AMG1302-T10B
/AMG1202-T10B to route the packets from/to the three networks correctly.
They are
br0
for the major network,
br0:0
for the IP alias 1. Therefore, two
routes are created in the AMG1302-T10B/AMG1202-T10B as shown below
when the two networks are configured. If the AMG1302-T10B
/AMG1202-T10B
’s DHCP is also enabled, the IP pool for the clients can be
any of the two networks.
IP Alias Setup
(1) Edit the first network in Web Configurator, Advanced Setup,
Network
Setting -> Home Networking ->LAN Setup
by configuring the
AMG1302-T10B/AMG1202-T10B
’s first LAN IP address.
