IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic 

safety precautions should always be 

followed including the following:
a) Read all instructions.
b)  To protect against risk of electrical shock 

do not put the blender base or power 

cord   in water or other liquid.

c)  This appliance is not intended for use 

by persons (including children) with 

reduced physical, sensory, or mental 

capabilities, or lack of experience and 

knowledge, unless they are closely su-

pervised and instructed concerning use 

of the appliance by a person responsi-

ble for their safety. Close supervision is 

necessary when any appliance is used 

by or near children. Children should be 

supervised to ensure that they do not 

play with the appliance.

d)  Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug 

from the outlet when not in use, before 

assembling or disassembling parts and 

before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the 

plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull 

from the power cord.

e) Avoid contacting moving parts.
f)  Do not operate any appliance with 

a damaged cord or plug or after the 

appliance malfunctions, or is dropped 

or damaged in any manner. Contact the 

manufacturer at their customer service 

telephone number for information on 

examination, repair, or adjustment.

g)  The use of attachments, including 

canning jars, not recommended by the 

manufacturer may cause a risk of injury 

to persons.

h)   Do not use outdoors.
i)   Do not let cord hang over edge of table 

or counter.

j)  When blending hot liquids, remove the 

stopper in the lid (i.e. the measuring cup.)

k)  Keep hands and utensils, other than the 

tamper provided, out of container while 

blending to reduce the risk of severe inju-

ry to persons or damage to the blender.

l)  The lid must remain in place when blend-

ing. Only use the tamper through the  

lid opening.

m)  Only use a scraper when the blender  

is not running.

When matching with the optional 

sport bottle attachment, be reminded:

n)    Blade assembly is sharp, is not locked 

in place, and is removable.

o)  Handle with care. When handling 

blade assembly, always hold it by  

the shaft.

p)  Always operate the sports bottle 

attachment with the blade assembly in 

place. To avoid a risk of injury, carefully 

remove the blade assembly before 

pouring from the sports bottle.

q)  Do not blend hot liquids in the sports 

bottle.
