3.6. Steering column adjustment
The steering column (Fig. 3.6) can be adjust-
ed continuously for tilt and height by releas-
ing the locking bolt on the left of the steering
column.
Secure locking bolt again!
3.7. Inch pedal
To stop without adjusting the joystick, press
To drive away, release the pedal. The com-
bine accelerates again to the original vehicle
speed.
This statement applies to driving forward as
well as to driving backward.
3.8. Parking brake
In addition to the service brake, the combine
is equipped with a parking brake.
The parking brake is actuated using the park-
ing brake lever (Fig. 3.8) on the left side of
the driver’s cab.

• Check the header, the grain tank, the sieve case, as well as the shaker for loose parts.
• Check engine oil level.
• Check oil level in the hydraulic system.
• Check air filter.
• Check coolant level.
• Check coolant and air intake hoses.
• Check acid level in the battery.
• Check fuel tank filling (if necessary bleed fuel system).
• Check wheel nuts or bolts are tight. If necessary tighten them. Recheck every 50 operating
hours!
• Check air pressure in the tyres.
• Check action of the brakes.
• Check tension and condition of the v-belts.
• Check tension and condition of the chains.
• Check free movement of the pulleys for the belt coupling.
• Check the adjustment of the header load relief springs.
4. Checking prior to placing in operation for the first time
The engine must be shutdown and the ignition key removed during the entire
check.
