• You can keep balance on a paddleboard by:
√ Standing at the center of the board about shoulder-width apart,
positioning your feet so that they are parallel, with knees slightly
bent and your back straight.
√ Keeping your gaze level at the horizon.
• To hold the paddle properly, you should hold it with the blade
sloping away from you. Please grip the top of the paddle with one
hand, place another hand about 24 inches (24”) below the shaft.
• If you’re paddling on the right, your left hand must be on the top
of the grip, and vice-versa.
• Wear a wetsuit or dry suit during cold weather.
• Carry a whistle so that you can send signals at any time.
• Carry a waterproof flashlight so that you can ask for help when
needed.
• Do not paddle at sunset.
• Avoid riding the equipment on shallow water because it may
damage fins.
The most basic skill is to use your core rather
than your arms. Try to twist your torso and
use your core muscles rather than pulling
yourself with the sole strength of your arms.
Please follow the suggestions instructed about
how to keep balance, hold the paddle, and
control the direction.
