Step
6–
Constant
Device
Setup
You
may
want
to
maintain
power
to
some
devices
such
as
modems,
routers,
lamps,
telephones,
and
chargers
at
all
times.
Plug
these
devices
into
the
outlets
labeled
“
Constant
”.
Devices
plugged
into
these
outlets
will
remain
powered
as
long
as
the
Main
Power
Switch
remains
in
the
RESET
position.
Step
7–
Analog
Line
Surge
Protection
(OPTIONAL)
Plug
any
phone
(RJ
‐
11),
or
coaxial
cables
used
in
your
office
/
workstation
setup
into
the
labeled
“IN”
ports
on
the
surge
protector.
Then
use
a
matching
cable,
specific
to
your
device,
to
run
from
the
labeled
“OUT”
port
on
the
surge
protector
and
into
the
corresponding
device.
Duplicate
cables
are
not
supplied
by
ZuniDigital.
Step
8–Verify
Functionality
Power
ON
the
Master
Device
and
confirm
that
all
of
the
Controlled
Devices
have
power
available.
Step
9–Set
Ethernet
Green
Power
Mode
Select
the
power
mode
you
want
to
use
to
control
the
wireless
to
Ethernet
bridge
and
extender.
If
you
select
CONSTANT,
the
wireless
to
Ethernet
bridge
and
extender
will
have
remain
powered
as
long
as
the
surge
protector’s
Main
Power
Switch
remains
in
the
RESET
/
ON
position.
If
you
select
CONTROLLED,
then
the
wireless
to
Ethernet
bridge
with
extender
will
only
be
powered
when
one,
or
both,
of
the
Master
Devices
are
powered
ON.
In
this
mode
it
will
take
approximately
45
seconds
for
the
wireless
to
Ethernet
bridge
and
extender
to
boot
up.
TEMPORARY
CONTROLLED
POWER
BUTTON
The
Temporary
Controlled
Power
Button
provides
90
seconds
of
power
to
the
Controlled
Outlets.
This
function
provides
access
to
the
controlled
devices
without
having
to
power
ON
the
Master
Device.
