Checking and replacing the paper filter cartridge
Before cleaning the cartridge, disconnect the minipool from the power supply.
The paper filter consists of a cylinder cartridge, made out of cellulose and polyamide.
Cleaning/replacing the paper cartridge depends on how much the minipool is used. In general, rinse the cartridge every
2-3 weeks
and replace it every time the water is changed: when replacing it, please dispose of the dirty cartridges following the regulations of the
country of use.
To clean, take the cartridge out of the filter (refer to the pictures on page 97) and wash it with clean water to remove any accumulated
dirt. If necessary, leave the cartridge immersed in a solution suitable for this type of filters for at at least 8-10 hours.
Refer to the instructions supplied by the Manufacturer of the cleaning product used.
When the cartridge is finally clean, wait for it to dry and replace it in its housing.
E
Periodic emptying
Since the Minipool contains a relatively small amount of water, the concentration of pollutants such as oils, creams, perspiration, dirt, etc.,
can be very high.
For this reason, water should be changed
at least every one or two
months depending on use.
The following formula can be used to assess approximately how often to empty the tub:
Capacity (litres) : Number of bathers (daily average): 12 (experimental constant).
For example:
1,200 litres (tub capacity) + 120 litres (compensation tank) with an average of 3 people per day.
(1200+120) : 3 : 12 = 36.6
Empty the minipool every 36 days
Even in the event of prolonged idle periods of the minipool, we recommend emptying it, as long periods without water treatment
are harmful for your minipool. Before emptying, make sure the values of chemical additives dissolved in water will not be differ-
ent from those allowed. If in doubt, contact your local authorities.
DO NOT DRAIN THE WATER INTO A SEPTIC TANK.
the pool must only be emptied by specialist operators.
