As shown in 

Figure 15

, the 1–U space can be equipped with a PSU 

subrack (+24V DC power supply) or a lightning subrack (if neces- 
sary).  The 2–U space can be equipped with BBU or transmission 
subrack.  If no subrack  is  equipped, configure an air guide panel 
or blank panel instead. 

 
 

The  top  RF  subrack,  fan  subrack  and  air  guide panel  (2U)  adopt 
the  front air intake and top air exhaust mode due to the vertical 
placement of RSU modules in the RF subrack. 

 

The BBU fan unit in the baseband subrack internally adopts a right- 
to-left  ventilation  due to the  horizontal placement of  BBU board. 
Two air guide panels (1 U) are each placed at the top and at the 
bottom of BBU to form an external air channel with front air intake 
and  back  air  exhaust.  Air  enters  the  baseband subrack  through 
two air guide panels, then goes into the BBU from right led by the 
fan  unit,  and  finally  comes  out  from  the  back  door  after  it  gets 
through the BBU board to the left.
