Chapter 2 Troubleshooting
5.
Verify that the feeders and feeder connectors are in good condition.
6.
Verify that the polarization of the antenna and the ODU are installed properly.
7.
Verify that the antenna azimuth does not deviate from the designed azimuth.
8.
Verify that there is no obstacle in the radio link.
2.2.4 Instantaneous Link Break
Perform the following troubleshooting steps:
1.
Verify that the equipment is operating properly.
2.
Use the network management software or a level recorder to verify that the
instantaneous break is due to signal attenuation. For detailed information, refer to
"
1.3.1 Checking the Receive Level
3.
Verify that the configured frequency interval is within the allowed range and there is
no external frequency interference. If interference exists, find the interference source
frequency and modify the equipment frequency.
4.
Adjust the mounting height of the antenna.
2.2.5 The MU Loses Lock
Perform the following troubleshooting steps:
1.
Check incorrect hardware installation and verify that the equipment and antenna
feeders are installed properly.
2.
Check link loop problem due to incorrect protection configuration and modify the 1+1
protection mode to 1+0 no-protection mode.
3.
Check link losing lock due to that the receive level is lower than the threshold value of
the high modulation mode and set the working mode to 7M/QPSK.
4.
Check logic or software problems and restart the equipment.
5.
Check frequency interference and modify the frequency points to another pair of
frequency points.
2.2.6 Air Interface Performance Is Zero
Perform the following troubleshooting steps:
1.
Verify that the weather keeps normal and there is no thunderstorm.
2.
Verify that there is no external interference (co-channel interference, and adjacent
channel interference) in this duration and no obstacles on the transmission path.
3.
Verify that the ODU is properly connected to the antenna.
4.
Verify that the configuration is correct. For example, both directions of an antenna
must be in the same LAG group or PLA group.
