Chapter 1 Routine Maintenance
Steps
1.
Keep a vacuum cleaner in the equipment and clean dust in the equipment periodically.
Operation procedure: Use a blower to blow away the dust on the equipment surface,
and use absolute alcohol to wash the equipment surface. It is recommended to put a
thin layer of heat-conductive silicon oil on the components exposed in the air.
2.
Take antistatic measures to protect the equipment.
Operation procedure: Keep a certain humidity inside the equipment room, prevent the
accumulation of static electricity, and keep good contact between the grounding cable
and the equipment.
3.
Verify that the air conditioner in the equipment room is operating properly, and keep
the temperature inside the equipment room within the range from 15
°
C to 35
°
C.
4.
Keep the humidity inside the equipment room within the range from 20% to 80%, and
take waterproof and dampproof measures for the equipment in the rainy season.

1.3.1 Checking the Receive Level
This procedure describes how to check the receive level and the handling methods in case
that the receive level is out of the planned range.
Steps
1.
Verify that the ODU receive level is within the planned range.
a.
Log in to the NetNumen U31 client.
b.
Select
Performance > History Performance Data Query
. The
Add History
Performance Data Query
window is displayed.
c.
Click the
Counter Selection
tab, set
NE Type
to
ZXMW NR8120A/8120D
, set
MO
Type
to
NR8120A/8120D ODU
, and click
OK
. The ODU performance statistics
data is displayed.
2.
Perform relevant operations in accordance with the check result.
