ZXMW NR8120A/8120D Maintenance Guide
2.
Verify that the antenna bracket is firmly and reliably fixed on the pole, meeting the wind
resistance requirement.
3.
Verify that the antenna is within the protection range of the lightning rod.
Note:
The protection angle of the antenna's lightning rod must be less than 45°. In areas
with high mountains or frequent thunderstorm, the protection angle of the antenna's

1.3.5 Checking the IF Cable
This procedure describes how to check the IF cable, to ensure that the IF cable is properly
connected.
Steps
1.
Verify that the outdoor connector and grounding clip of the IF cable are well sealed.
2.
Verify that the connectors of the IF cable are fastened.
3.
Verify that the IF cable is not broken or twisted and its shielding layer is not exposed.
4.
Verify that the bending radius of the IF cable is greater than 30 cm.
5.
Verify that the grounding points of the IF cable comply with the specification.
The IF cable should be more than 60 m in length and is grounded in the three-point
grounding mode. If the IF cable is shorter than 60 m, it is recommended to ground the
cable in the two-point grounding mode. Waterproofing measures should be made at
the grounding points.
6.
To satisfy the antenna height adjustment requirement in future, reserve 5-10 m of the
IF cable to make a ring and fix it on the metal tower, see
