downstream rate is up to 85 Mbit/s, and
the transmission distance is up to 2.5 km.
SHDSL
Use the symmetric data transmission
method. The upstream and downstream
rate ranges from 192 kbit/s to 2355
kbit/s, and the transmission distance is
up to 6.5 km.
SHDSL.bis
SHDSL.bis
interface
provides
SHDSL
broadband services for the subscribers.
Comparing with SHDSL interface, the
upstream rate for each wire pair is up to
5696 kbps, Up to 4 pairs (8 wires) can be
used for one SHDSL.bis interface.
Ethernet
Ethernet interface provides the subscrib-
ers with 100 Mbit/s broadband access
service.
EPON
uses the Ethernet as its carrier, adapts
point-to-multipoint architecture and pas-
sive optical transmission mode. its down-
stream rate can reach 1.25 Gbit/s up to
