Basic Operations
Navigating the Menus
The various functions of the phone can be accessed through menus and submenus. You can navigate the
menus by tapping on the touch screen or by using the hardware keys.
1. From the standby mode, press
Menu Key
to open the main menu.
The main menu is divided into four screens, with 9 items in each screen. To switch between each screen,
you can
Tap on one of the four dots below the menu icons.
Flick right or left.
2. Tap on an item, or select the item with the
Navigation Keys
and then confirm by pressing
OK Key
to
launch the application or enter into its submenu.
3. In the submenu, go on to tap, flick or drag on the touch screen, or use
Navigation Keys
to select and
OK Key
to confirm.
For example:
1. Press
Menu Key
to open the main menu in idle mode.
2. Tap
Settings
.
3. Tap
Profiles
.
4. Tap
Outdoor
to change the current profile.
You can also change the profile by using the keypad only:
1. Press
Menu Key
to open the main menu in idle mode.
2. Use
Up/Down Key
and
Left/Right Key
to select
Settings
.
3. Press
OK Key
to enter the settings menu.
4. Use
Right Key
to switch to
Profiles
tab.
5. Press
Down Key
to select
Outdoor
.
6. Press
OK Key
to change the profile.
