16 Installing the Join Me PC Software

Install the CD Software before plugging your phone into your PC

. If your phone has already been plugged in, the

correct drivers will not install automatically. See below to re-install the drivers through the Windows Device Manager.

Please follow the installation guide carefully by reading the Quick Start Guide provided and the Read Me file on the CD.

The process is to run the Setup File in the Join Me folder on the CD,

then

plug in your handset. Windows will install

three sets of drivers. Once this is done, you can run the Join Me software. If the installation fails then you will need to

access Device Manager to re-install the drivers. Please see our FAQ section on

www.zte.com.au

for full instructions.

To access Device Manager, right click My Computer, select Properties, the Hardware tab, then Device Manager or go

through the Control Panel, System. Failed Driver installation is shown by yellow ‘!’ or ‘?’ marks. Right-click to re-install

the driver and follow the Found New Hardware Wizard choosing the default options. If the driver still fails to install, go

back and select “Install from a list or specific location” then select “Don’t Search I will choose”. Select the driver from the

list and complete the installation. See
