: The SMS centers of some countries and regions do not support messages longer than 160 English
characters.

to check received short messages; select

to check the successful saved messages in
the SIM card.

to view the message details; press

operations:

Read: Read the message.

Reply: Send messages to the recipients. (The menu appears only when you are reading messages in the
inbox.)

Delete: Delete the message.

Forward: Transfer the message to others.

Call sender: Call the opposite party. (The menu appears only when reading messages in the Inbox.)
z
Extract No.: Extract numbers from the message text and list them on the screen. If you select one, the
number will be displayed on the dialing interface for editing or dialing.

Delete all: Delete all the received or saved messages.

You must set up necessary SMS information before using message functions. Enter the

When editing messages, holding the

can bring out the preset answer sentences. In this
menu, you can edit or change these sentences

Message center:
Input the short message service center number (You must obtain this number from your
service provider.), and then press

to store the number.

Message validity:
In the period of validity, the message center will repeat to deliver a message till it is
received. Press

to select a valid time and then press

Status report:

, a message report will be sent to inform you after the sent
message has reached the destination. Note: This function requires the network support.
