In setting mode, press
„<‟/„>‟ key to select different function settings.
Storage mode setting
“Storage” menu is used to select whether to store tag information, “Storage Y” is storage
mode, “Storage N” is non-storage mode.
Press “SCAN” key to switch between “Storage Y” and “Storage N” when the cursor is moved
to the “Storage” menu.
(Note:The reader will store tag information and operation time when the storage mode is set to “Storage Y”,
the reader will not store tag information and time if the storage mode is set to “Storage N”.)
Query mode
“Check” menu is used to set whether to compare the tag information that readed by the
reader with the tag information stored in memory, “Check Y” is query mode, “Check N” is
non-query mode.
Move the cursor to “Check” menu, press “SCAN” to switch between “Check Y” and “Check
N”.
(Note: The reader will compare the data after reading tag information when the query mode is set to “Check
Y”, the buzzer will ring twice if the current tag information has been stored, users can select whether to store
current tag information by themselves. The reader will not compare the data when the query mode is set to “Check
N”.)
Wireless data transmission setting
“Wireless” menu is used to set wireless data transmission function of this reader, “Wireless
Y” means to turn on wireless data transmission function, “Wireless N” means turn off wireless
data transmission function.
Move the cursor to “Wireless” menu, press “SCAN” key to switch “Wireless Y” and
“Wireless N”.
(Note: The reader will send the tag information to the receiver after reading it if the wireless communication
mode is set to “Wireless Y”, the reader will not send the tag information if the wireless communication is set to
“Wireless N”.)
System time setting
ZT-RPD-A03 system time can be set by one key setting on computer, please refer to “Data
transmission management”.
Viewing version information
“About” menu is used to view the reader‟s version information. Move the cursor to “About”
menu, press “SCAN” key to display the reader‟s version and the the other information, press
“SCAN” again to exit.
Exiting setting mode
In setting mode, press “<”/ “>” key to move the cursor to “Home” menu, press “SCAN” key
to exit setting mode.

Data transmission management
The information stored in RPD-A03 can be managed by sending them to computer through
USB cable or wireless transmission.
Data base management software
