The YL81C display has a three button interface. (Power), (Plus), and (Minus).
It will light up for night visibility when buttons are pressed.
Real-Time Speed
and Distance.
Press-hold the (Power) button for 2 seconds, the display turns on and opens
the circuit between the battery and the controller making the system active and ready.
The display will automatically power off after 10 minutes of no use or button interaction
which also shuts down the entire system.

Press/hold button to power on. Display 1 (trip distance) is the default screen.

Inactivity for more than 5 seconds in any screen, any mode, the screen will
automatically go back to the default screen real-time speed and trip distance.
