To start pairing with another device, first turn on the
desired device, make sure it is within a few meters of your
computer, is discoverable (visible to other devices), and is
in pairing mode. (Some devices are automatically
discoverable and in pairing mode when they are turned
on.)

Then open the
My Bluetooth
menu and select
Bluetooth
Device Discovery
to see the available devices in the area.
The devices are shown in orbit around the sun, which
represents your computer. Right-click the icon for the
device you want to pair with, and on the popup menu
select
Pair Device
