Setup procedure for Windows NT

Step1

Install protocol in Windows NT:
a. Please make sure what protocol that you need, we could use IPX/SPX

TCP/IP
、
NetBEUI in
Windows NT.
b. If it needs to add new protocol, the procedure as below: Select control panel

Select protocol and select add(3)

Select one protocol what

Step4
:
Install driver for Print Server in Windows NT:
a. Insert CD and execute setup.exe.
b. It will appear two utilities, one is Network Print Monitor, and the other is PSAdmin.
c. Done.
Step5
:
Add new Printer’s driver:
If it was a new printer type, please select

add printer
】
and complete this procedure.
Setup procedure as below:
a. Select local printer.
b. The Add Printer Wizard screen will appear, Select My Computer.
c. In available ports, select LPT1.
d. Select the appropriate printer manufacturer.
e. Select printer type.
f. Type printer name or use default.
g. In Printer sharing, click next.
h. In printing testing page, select “No”.
i. Done.
Step6
:
Configure print server:
a. Select Printer that you want to configure.
b. Select “Properties”.
c. Select “Port”.
d. Select “Add port”.
e. In available ports, select “Network Print Port”.
f. It will appear picture as below.
