I. Attach the hood switch to the bracket.

Magnet
J. Insert the terminals in the housing.
A = Yellow/black
B = Blue
Connect hood sensor harness to the module
harness and fix the excess of cable.
K. Apply a small amount of grease to the top of the
hood sensor.
Close the hood so the grease will mark sensor
location beneath the hood as seen in the picture.
L. Position the magnet center to the grease mark.
Adjust the bracket position if needed so it will not
touch the magnet when hood is closed.
Mark the location of the holes
Drill 3/32” holes.
Mount the magnet as shown in the picture and
secure using self-tapping screws and lock washer.
