Replacing Ventilator Filters
Tools needed:
Hemostat or tweezers
Phillips Head screwdriver
Warning!
Before attempting to replace filters, make sure that external power is disconnected and
that the ventilator’s power switch is set to “OFF”.
Replacing the Foam Filter
The Foam Filter is located inside the Fresh
Gas/ Emergency Air Intake.
1. Carefully remove the Foam Filter using
a hemostat or tweezers.
DO NOT
reuse or attempt to clean the old filter.
2.
Replace the Foam Filter with a new filter.
Lightly tap the new
filter into place. The top of the filter should reside approximately
3/4 to 7/8” below the height of the 22 mm female connector that
is part of the Fresh Gas/ Emergency Air Intake.
Replacing the Disk Filter
1.Remove the four (4) 8-32 x 3 Phillips Flat Head screws
that secure the Fresh Gas/ Emergency Air Intake assembly to
the cover.
