MOTION TAB
This tab allows for the configuration of the trigger levels that will initiate the start of a video recording.

Accelerometer - Both the RS-4000 and the Digital Ally devices can trigger a recording based upon vehicle
movement. In addition to trigging a recording based upon vehicle movement, the Digital Ally system can
also trigger a recording based upon the movement (or tampering) of the camera itself. Using the
suggested settings displayed in the image above will utilize the accelerometer functionality of both
devices.
2.
Vehicle Speed – This value should be set based upon the highest vehicle speed acceptable under the
agencies safety policy.
