Once unit is ready for testing:
• Verify that the pit is free of ANY debris
and power cords are properly placed out
of way.
• With control panel ON, verify that pump(s)
operate manually using the HAND mode
inside the control panel.
• With control panel ON, verify that the
pump(s) operate automatically using the
AUTO mode inside the control panel.
• Third float will activate the ALARM
BEACON on control panel on a 3-float system.
• Fill basin with water and confirm that pumps are operating (and alternating if a duplex system) properly.
Do not run dry for more than a few seconds as this will damage the pump’s mechanical seal.
