1.Squelch
The squelch is used to prevent noise and
other unwanted signals from reaching the
loudspeaker in the radio. The squelch level
can be set in 9 steps.
To select squelch level:
1. Press
untill the display shows:
1. SQL
2. Secelc lever with [▲] eller [▼].
3. Press [PTT] to store.

2. Key Beep
The feature gives a tone each time a
button is pressed.
To enable and disable the function :
1. Press untill the display shows:

2. Select OFF or ON with [▲] eller [▼].
3. Press [PTT] to store.

3. APO (Automatic Power Off)
APO is a feature that allows the radio
to turn off automatically if no button are
pressed or no signals are received within
the set time.
To enable / change the Automatic Power
Off function :
1. Press until the display shows:

2. Select desired Power off time with
[▲] eller [▼].
3. Press [PTT] to confirm.

4. Time Out Timer (TOT)
TOT is the function that prevents from lock-
ing up a frequency by prolonged keying of
PTT. The time-out timer limits the amount
of time you have to transmit your message.
When you reach the time limit, your trans-
mission will be cut off. In order to transmit
again, you must push PTT button to reset
the timer.
To enable / the Automatic Power Off
function :
1. Press until the display shows:
12. TOT
2. Select time with [▲] eller [▼].
3. Press
to confirm.
