Battery warning
The battery capacity is shown with three segments in the battery symbol in the radio display.
Three segments = Fully charged battery.
When the battery symbol is blinking, the battery is discharged. You must then either start a new
charging, or change the battery as soon as possible.
¢
Antenna
If you will move around large areas or in hilly terrain, it can be useful to bring a longer antenna in
your backpack. Often the standard antenna is sufficient, so you should try that one first.
¢
Headset / Speaker mike
If you do not want to pick up the radio each time you shall speak, you can attach a headset or
speaker mike. You will then keep the radio in your pocket / belt, and use the PTT on the headset /
speaker mike for transmission.
¢
Ear Protector
If you use an ear protector, you can attach this to your hunting radio. You will then need a radio
cable. Various types are available.
¢
MAINTENANCE
To clean your radio, use a soft cloth dampened with water. Do not use cleaners or solvents which
may cause permanent damage which is not covered by the guarantee.
