ILLUSTRATED PARTS LIST
1 GENERAL
The illustrated parts list (IPL) contains the complete list of all the replaceable parts used in the
rapid water heater. It starts with a numerical parts list followed by a detailed parts list made out of
figures and related parts lists.
2 INTRODUCTION
A. Numerical parts list.
This section contains a listing of part numbers of all items listed in the detailed parts list in
alpha-numerical sequence with cross reference to respective Fig./Item Nos. as well as units
per assy.
B. Assembly
breakdown.
Each assembly drawing is followed immediately by a listing of its components annotated to
show their relationship to the assembly. Parts are listed in general order of disassembly with
the exception of attaching parts, which are listed immediately following the items they attach.
3 ORDERING
SPARE PARTS
A. Order number.
The order number for all parts is the number shown in the PART NUMBER column in the
illustrated parts list.
All part numbers starting with “9” or “L9” refer to parts which are commercially available. The
other numbers refer to a drawing number and are also part numbers.
B. Ordering
procedure.
When ordering spare parts from the manufacturer the following information must be given:

Rapid water heater part number

Complete part number

Part description

Quantity required
4 USING THE PARTS LIST
A. The part number is known.
(1) Find the part number in the numerical index. Note figure and item number.
(2) Turn to figure.
(3) Locate the part on illustration and in the parts list by item number.
