How to prepare for and perform photography
○
When using with a film camera
〔
Preparation
〕
This product attaches to the camera via the Leica M mount. So it can be
used with the Leica M2, M3, M4, M6, etc. cameras.
It can also be used with other M mount cameras such as the Minolta CL
and CLE, Konica Hexar RF, Zeiss IKON ZM, and Cosina Bessa series.
A viewfinder with a 28 mm field of view is required.
(The Leica M4-P, M6, etc. will automatically display the 28 mm frame when
this unit is attached.)
Note) If your camera does not have a built-in 28 mm viewfinder, you will
need to acquire an external 28 mm viewfinder (sold separately by various
manufacturers).
〔
Photography
〕
Set the exposure mode to A (aperture priority).
•When determining the exposure time manually, the amount of transmitted
light differs depending on the type of optical element selected, so please
refer to the relevant optical element card for the nominal f-number to use.
•If the exposure time is longer than 1/60, use of a tripod is recommended.
•No focus adjustment is required.
