Ensure always that the machine has a secure, stable stand! Leave extra caution
on wet and on uneven work surfaces! Make a neat working environment in order
to avoid tripping over cutting wood.
Slides / tripping / falling is a major cause of serious injury or death. Beware of
uneven or slippery work surfaces.
Serious injury by tipping the machine are possible!
The running machine must never be left unattended! Switch the machine off be-
fore leaving the work area and wait until the engine is at a standstill!
Attention! Please read and follow the safety instructions carefully.
Let the log splitter unattended while it is turned on.
Turn the log splitter before you leave. Do the same in the case of a power outage.
Keep children and pets. When use of wood chippers to a safe distance from any person.
Do not allow children to operate the machine and no person who has not read this manual or are
not familiar with the log splitter.
The user is responsible for working with the log splitter for third parties.
Use the log splitter only for the intended purpose. Be careful when you clean the log splitter or
servicing.
It is forbidden to install any electrical and mechanical safety devices elsewhere or change.
Replace your own safety all worn or damaged parts.
Use only original spare parts. Parts that were not produced by the manufacturer can, sit badly
and may cause injury.
Store it in a dry and secure place out of reach of children.
Use only three-wire extension cords.
Use only approved for outdoor use extension cord, and check before use if they are in good con-
dition.
Protect cable against any damage due to excessive mechanical stress, sharp edges, contact with
moving parts and corrosive liquids, etc.
Attention! Do not use an extension cable which shows signs of damage. Connect a completely
new cable and remove any permanent or temporary repairs. Let replace the cable by a qualified
professional.
Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, make sure that the mains voltage matches the
information on the nameplate of the chopper.
Turn the log splitter off before you disconnect any plug-in connection or extension cord.

Residual risks
Also in compliance with all safety regulations and if used properly following residual risks are noted:
Danger of noise: work without ear protection can damage your hearing permanently.
Danger from the working environment: heavy crushing for the hands or fingers.
Electric shock: when connected to the machine can cause electric shock when touching conduc-
tive machine parts.
