Preparation
(if fitting to existing pipework)
Installation
• Fit the filter in the incoming mains cold water supply line to the appliance.
• Turn off the incoming cold mains water supply.
• Note the flow direction on the filter (marked with an arrow).
• Connect supply line to the inlet side of the filter.
• Tighten firmly, using two spanners (do not over tighten).
• Turn on the water supply.
• Flush 18 litres of water through the filter (use a length of hose on the outlet of filter and drain to waste).
• Turn off water supply.
• Connect filter outlet.
• Tighten firmly using two spanners.
• Turn on water supply.
• Check for leaks and tighten fittings if leaks occur.
