G4 allows the appliance coordinator to set up a password 

to protect against users changing the preferred system settings.  

To set a password

• 

Press the [MENU] button for main 

menu.

• 

Press the [Security] button.

• 

Press [Enable Password]. 

• 

Enter a 4 digit password.

• 

Press [Enter].

Press the [MENU] button for main 

menu.

Press the [Security] button.

• 

Press [Change Password]. 

• 

Enter your old 4 digit password.

• 

Then enter your new 4 digit 

password & press [Enter]. (Once 

the password has been set you 

will need to enter the password 

to access the settings screen. If 

you have forgotten the password, 

please disconnect the power and 

restart your HydroTap

®
