In order to guarantee air circulation, the ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C is fitted with a relay outlet to control an
external fan.
•
Protect the inverter from the heat of the sun.
•
Keep the recommended distances between the system and the rest of the installation.
This unit must be accompanied by batteries at all times and therefore it is necessary to pay special attention to their
location.
All batteries must be installed in well-ventilated places free of damp. Whenever these are installed in enclosed
areas it is important to maintain the correct ventilation in order to minimise condensation and guarantee the
evacuation of gases generated in the load.
IMPORTANT:
The locations where the unit is installed must be supplied with adequate fire protection means.
“
No Smoking
” signs must be placed in the area where the batteries are installed and any activity which might
create a spark in the battery room must be prohibited.
Instructions for the handling, safety and maintenance of batteries will be placed next to the site where the batteries
are installed.
In this way, the user may attend to the installation and maintenance of the batteries more efficiently, lengthening
their service life.
In order to facilitate maintenance and prolong the service life of batteries, the place where these are installed must
ensure the following parameters:
•
The ambient temperature in the work area must be between 0ºC and 40ºC.
•
The sides must have sufficient space to enable the proper maintenance of the batteries in accordance with the
applicable safety standards.
•
The relative humidity range shall be between 0 and 95% without condensation.
•
The battery has a nominal voltage value of 350 Vdc. Therefore, it will be protected in order to avoid people
touching this and to prevent objects from falling on it.
In addition to the battery cooling system, it is possible to install a forced ventilation system made up of a number of
fans in order to facilitate the free circulation of conditioned air.
IMPORTANT
It is necessary to remember that battery life depends directly on the working temperature.
3.3 Electrical connection
The ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C unit is supplied with AC connecting terminals (Unit/Grid and Output) and DC (FV
and battery) as well as two earth connections (FV and AC):
•
The output AC connection is accessible at the front.
•
The input AC connection is accessible at the front.
•
The DC connection (renewable input) is accessible at the front.
•
The battery DC connection is accessible at the front.
•
The earth connections are next to the AC and DC connections. The DC earth connection is isolated from the
ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C frame.
