MOUNTING THE CORN HEADER

Diagram 14
Locking the corn header at the feeding chute
Principally secure against unintentional lowering !
For this purpose, use the locking device at the hy-
draulic cylinders.
Perform the fastening of the header (R) according to the installa-
tion as predefined by the thresher.
Principally only slowly lower the corn header on to the ground in
order to avoid unwanted forces to act upon the locking device.
Attention: Depending on the harvester model, the types of locking
mechanism may vary.

Additional counterweights
Depending on the weight of the mounted corn header, additional
balance weights may be required at the steering axle of the
thresher.
The dimensions of these additional balance weights can be de-
ducted from the road traffic certificate, the harvester operating
manual, or the technical inspection certificate (TÜV) of the har-
vester.
The road traffic admission conditions for public
roads must be strictly complied with!
Diagram 15
Additional lifting cylinder
Depending on the size and weight of the harvester, one or two
additional lifting cylinders (Z) may be required.
The manufacturers of harvesters have according sets available.
Depending on the deployed version of the harvester and the load
capacity of the individual thresher, additional weights or additional
water filling in the tyres at the steering axle may be required.
Comply with the specifications of the harvester manufacturer and
the technical inspection certificate (TÜV).
