Assembly requires 2 persons. All holes are pre-drilled.
Tools required: Corded / Cordless Drill, Pozi-drive Bit / Screwdriver.
The Windsor Cascade Planter is now complete.
1.
Position 1no Front Leg (A) flush with bottom corner of Planter Tub (B), align 2no
pre-drilled holes at end of leg with the base rail on the underside of the planter
tub, and attach using 2no 50mm screws (See Fig 1a). Fix Front Leg to Planter
body using 2no 30mm screws. See Fig 1b. Repeat procedure for the other Front
Leg.
2.
Lay assembly on its side and position a second Planter Tub (B) between Front
Legs, ensuring that top of planter is flush with top of the Front Legs and that
rearmost top corners of both are aligned (See arrow in Fig 2). Fix in position from
both sides using 4no 50mm screws for fixing to base rail of tub (2 per side) and
4no 30mm (2 per side) screws for fixing to side panel of tub (See Fig 2).
3.
Position Rear Leg (C) beneath top Planter Tub and overlapping Front Leg (A),
ensuring staggered pre-drilled holes are uppermost and that the top edge of Rear
Leg fully contacts planter base rail. Fix in position using 2no 30mm screws (See
Figs 3a & 3b). Repeat procedure for remaining Rear Leg.
4.
Position Cross Bracing (D) on the outer face of Rear Leg (C). Ensure that the
cross bracing is horizontal, and in contact with edge of Front Leg and flush with
back of Rear Leg. Screw to Rear Leg (C) using 2no 30mm screws (See Figs 4a
&4b). Repeat procedure for remaining Cross Bracing on opposite side of planter
assembly.
5.
Position remaining Planter Tub (B) between Front Legs, ensure bottom of planter
base rail is flush with underside of Cross Bracing and fix into base rail of tub
position using 6no 50mm screws (3 per side - See arrows in Fig 5a). Fix Front
Legs to body of planter using 4no 30mm screws (2 per side - See Fig 5a & 5b).
6.
Identify pre-drilled holes in lower section of Rear Legs, place Leg Brace (E)
between Rear Legs and position centrally over the holes. Fix in position using
4no 50mm screws.
