Clifton Gazebo Assembly Instructions
Important - All screw holes to be pre-drilled
(N.B. This product
must
be assembled on a level surface.)
1.
Lay out 6 Floor Panels A as shown in Fig.1a and fix together using 12no 70mm Screws as shown in
Fig.1b. Place the Infill B in centre and fix in position using 6no 45mm Screws (Fig.1c).
2.
Attach 2no Posts C to Full Panel D using 6no 70mm Screws (3no per post) as shown in Fig.2a.
Further attach 2no Trellis Panels E to Posts C using 6no 70mm Screws (3no per post) to form the
back wall of Gazebo (Fig.2b).
Attach 2no Posts C to Trellis Panels E using 6no 70mm Screws (3no per post) and fix Balustrade
Panels F to Posts C using 4no 70mm Screws – 2no per panel (Fig.2c).
Attach remaining 2no Posts C to Balustrade Panels F using 4no 70mm Screws.
Align wall panel assembly with floor panels and fix in position using 15no 70mm Screws – 3no per
panel. See Figs.2d & 2e.

Insert 6no Rafters H into predrilled holes of Finial G (Fig.3a) and fix in position using 6no 120mm
Screws (1no per Rafter H).
Lift Rafter Assembly into slots on top of Posts C (Fig.3b) and fix in position using 12no 70mm Screws
(2no per post) – Fig.3c.

Fix Fascia J between Posts C above Balustrade Panels F and entrance using 6no 70mm screws
(2no per Fascia) – Fig.4.

(N.B. Prior to fixing Roof Panels, apply two even beads of silicone to each Rafter D and into grooves
in Finial G.)
Position Roof Panel K onto Rafters D and into groove in Finial G (Fig.5a). Fix in position using 6no
45mm Screws (3no per side) - Fig.5b. Repeat procedure for remaining 5no Roof Panels K.
Insert Roof Panel End Boards L as shown in Fig.5c and fix in position using 4no 45mm Screws (2no
per side) – Fig.5d. Repeat procedure for remaining Roof Panel End Boards L.
6.
Apply Expansion Tape to underside of Roof Capping M (Fig.6a), position over roof panel joint and
fix using 6no 45mm Screws (3no per side) – Fig.6b. Repeat procedure for remaining 5no Roof
Cappings M.
Seat Assembly – Optional Extra
7.
Using 8no 45mm Screws (4no per Leg Brace N), fix 2no Leg Braces N to 2no Seat Legs O ensuring
lower brace is 20mm up from bottom of Seat Legs O and top brace is flush with top of Seat Legs O
(Fig.7a).
Similarly, build Right Leg Assembly as shown in Fig.7b.
Fix the Back Fascia P (Fig.7c) and Front Fascia Q (Fig.7d) to the two Leg Assemblies using 8no
45mm Screws (4no per Fascia).
Locate Seat Brace R between lower Leg Braces and fix using 4no 45mm Screws (2no per side) –
Fig.7e.
Fix Seat Boards S1,S2 & S3 as shown in Fig.7f, (ensuring Seat Board S1 is at the front and S3 at the
back) using 12no 45mm Screws (4no per Seat Board).
Repeat procedure to build the remaining 2no Seats.
Position completed benches inside gazebo and fix to each other through (upper) Leg Braces N using
4no 45mm Screws – 2no per joint.
Fix bench assembly to posts through rear top corners using 2no 70mm Screws – 1no either end.
