Tools required: Corded/Cordless Drill, Pozi-drive Bit/Screwdriver, 3mm Drill Bit
required in order for you to drill all screw holes before construction.
Ashton BBQ Shelter is now complete.
1.
Attach Back Posts A to Back Panel B, flush with back of post, ensuring notches
(cut outs) face rear-most and at a nominal height of 150mm from base of post
using 6no 60mm screws (3 per post). (See Fig. 1)
2.
Attach Side Panel C to Back Post A and Front Post D, flush with outside of
posts, using 6no 60mm screws (3 per side). Repeat procedure for remaining
side panel and front post. (See Figs. 2a & 2b)

Position and fix Roof Truss E to notches in Back Posts A ensuring truss ends
overlap posts by 35mm each side, using 4no 60mm screws (2 per post). (See
Figs. 3a & 3b)
4.
Attach Side Battens F to Back Posts A and Front Posts D using 8no 60mm
screws (4 per side). (See Figs. 4a & 4b)
5.
Position Back Shelf H and Side Shelves G as shown in Fig. 5, paying particular
attention to highlighted area. Fix using 13no 35mm screws (4 per side panel & 5
for rear). (See Fig. 5)
6.
Place Front Fascias K as shown in Fig. 6 and attach Roof Panel Support J using
4no 35mm screws (2 per fascia).

Locate Front Fascia assembly to Front Posts D and attach using 4no 60mm
screws. (See Fig. 7)
8.
Position Back Fascias L to Roof Truss E as shown in Fig. 8a and attach using
10no 35mm screws (5 per fascia) ensuring fascias overlap truss by 15mm (see
Fig. 8b)
9.
Attach Bracings M as shown in Fig. 9 (2 per rear post, 1 per front post), using 18
no 60mm screws (3 per bracing).
10. Fix Roof Battens N to Side Battens F ensuring angled cut is uppermost (See Fig.
10), using 8no 60mm screws (4 per side).
11. Place Roof End Boards O as shown in Fig. 11a, and attach to Roof Battens N
using 8no 35mm screws (4 per Roof End Board). Interlock Roof Boards P to
Roof Board O (13 per side) as shown in Fig. 11b and fix alternate boards using
28no 35mm screws (14 per side).
12. Attach Finials Q to back and front fascias using 8no 35mm screws (4 per finial),
as shown in Fig.12.
13. Fix Vent Board R to Vent Board S as shown in Fig. 13 using 4no 35mm screws.
14. Position Vent Board assembly onto finials and attach using 4no 35mm screws (2
per side). (See Fig. 14)
