This Quick Start Guide will show you the basics of
installing and operating your Rain Gauge Zepiro D2O.

Ensure your D2O is connected to the external device.
Open the Serial Terminal software application on your
Computer.

Unscrew Dust Cap and store safely.
Connect 4-Pin M12 to USB-A Cable (sold separately).

ENTER NORMAL OPERATION

Disconnect the 4-Pin M12 to USB-A cable and store for
future use. Replace the Dust Cap on the D2O. Ensure the
device is secure and powered on before leaving.

Basic overview - Create a
Serial Connection in your
Serial Terminal software.
Select the D2O’s matching
COM port and use the serial
interface parameters shown
in the table.
Once a connection is established press the Enter key
twice to wake the device (allow up to 30secs before
retrying). A Chevron > Character will appear when ready.
• Entering
help
will provide a list of commands.
• Device will enter sleep after a short timeout, signalled
by
GOODBYE
message on screen.
• Press the
Enter
key twice to wake the device again.

Power must be
enabled before
leaving, using the
command:
