Tension indication loop at rear should be
flush with strap (shown un-tensioned here)
when subject inhales and chest is fully
expanded

Centre line of the device should be directly
under the armpit
– for optimum breathing
detection device should be at apex of rib
curvature. The device can be moved slightly
(~1”) to the rear only (dotted line) if the
optimum location is uncomfortable.
