HARD RESET TO IP FACTORY DEFAULTS
The objective of the IP factory reset is to locate a device that is not accessible on a local
network due to an IP configuration loss. Once the device is accessible, it will be
necessary a new ETS download to introduce the desire IP configuration.
By
pressing the "IP Factory Reset" button for three seconds
:
The device will adopt an
IP address via the DHCP server
.

If the DHCP client does not obtain a valid IP address (after several
attempts), then the device will be assigned an
IP address via the AutoIP
(APIPA)

protocol.
The factory reset indicator LED will light up in red.
If a
second-long press
is made on the "IP Factory Reset" button
The device will adopt a
static IP address
.

If "Use a static IP address" has been chosen on the ETS configuration, the
device will have the
configured IP
.
The factory reset led will light up in green.
➢
On the other hand, if on the ETS configuration "Obtain an IP address
automatically" has been chosen, the device will obtain an
IP by means of
AutoIP (APIPA)
.
The factory reset indicator LED lights up in yellow.
The factory IP setting and the colour of the factory reset LED will remain until the device
is restarted.
