Connect the two long sides with the crossbars(

).

First put the boxes in their holes in the headboard and base of the bed (

), then the long steel
debs. Fasten them with the grub screw like on the picture. Don´t tighten them too firmly. After put
the wood debs in position and screw on the steel debs, on the sides and one in the middle.

Now fix the position by screw on all the grub screws in the
crossbar. Don´t tighten them too firmly to make the further
assembly more easy.

Screw in the XS steel debs at the four positions of the
crossbars in the long sides(

). Make sure the
orientation of the
debholes is vertical
, so later the grub screw take its effect.
Also put in the boxes in the holes of the crossbars(
3
).
Please do the setup of the bed
on a soft surface(e.g. a carpet or blanket)
to avoid damages.
