The device will now start in Refraction mode (Fig. 16).
•
If necessary, tap Back to return to the previous page for language
selection.
Connection to the EMR/PMS system
For connecting the device to an EMR/PMS system, there are several options:
•
Connecting via the serial interface
•
File-based data exchange via a network folder
•
Data output via network
•
Provision of data to be collected via the network (web service)
Please check which of these options are supported by your EMR/PMS
system. The current device interface specifications can be found at
www.zeiss.com/essential-line/connectivity.
Using the serial interface
•
Switch off both devices and plug the RS 232 cable into the
corresponding connecting ports of the ZEISS VISUREF 150 ( 7 , Fig. 5) and
the receiving device, e.g. your i.Com server, PC or your
VISUPHOR/VISUSCREEN Junction Box. Use the fixing screws provided.
•
Switch on both devices.
•
Set the configuration parameters for both devices.
•
Switch to the device settings of ZEISS VISUREF 150 and open the
Interface/Serial menu (see Section Interface submenu , page 95 ).
•
Align the Baud rate , Number of bits for Data and Stop , Parity and
Handshaking interface parameters with the corresponding settings of
the receiving device.
•
Select the desired output format and protocol.
•
Enable the interface in the Interface/Interface enablement menu (see
Section
Interface submenu
, page
95
).
•
Exit the device settings and tap Apply .
