The incubators S TIRF S1 and S TIRF DARK S1 can be used in combination with different stages. To check
compatibility, please see the table in Section 2.9.1 on page 39. Only condensers of NA 0.55 can be used.
Please bear in mind that the laser safety incubator S TIRF S1 in red design has been approved
for the Laser TIRF imaging system only for wavelengths of up to 561 nm.
•
Mount the scanning stage or the mechanical stage using the 3 hexagonal screws M4x20.
•
Put the supplied spacers (8.0 mm) between the stage and the supporting points.
•
Insert the heating insert P S1, kompakt (411861-9902-000) into the scanning stage or the mechanical
stage.
•
Connect the cable to the TempModul S1.
•
Suitable inserts: Petri dishes "35" and "60"; POC-R and POCmini
•
Place the incubator S TIRF S1/S TIRF DARK S1 on the heating insert P S1 kompakt and fix it using the
locking screw (Fig. 3-4/

). Tighten the locking screw only gently, until the incubator can no longer slip
from the insert.
