Adjusting magnification
The “Magnification” menu offers you the following functions:
– Setting the start value of the zoom system
– Display of the total magnification
– Setting the zoom/focus link
Setting the start value of the zoom system
The menu permits you to set a user-specific start value for the zoom system.
The system resets to the defined start value after the following actions:
– Switching the device on
– Pressing the reset button (if the function is activated, see Page 121)
– Moving the system into its standby position (if the function is activated,
see Page 122)
• Press the <Magnification> button in the main menu.

The “Magnification” menu is displayed.
• Set the start value for the zoom system in the range from 0.4 to 2.4. Press
the
button under “Zoom value” to increase the start value and the
button to reduce it.

The magnification currently set is displayed between the two buttons.
• To save the changes, press the button.

The setting is saved for the current user.
• To return to the Main Menu, press the button.

The main menu is displayed again.
