Display of overall magnification
The calculation of the magnification value is based on the parameter settings
for the objective lens used, the tube, and the eyepieces (see page 114).
•
Press the <Magnification> button in the main menu.

The “Magnification” menu is displayed.

The “Total System Magnification” field displays the current system
magnification.
After exchanging an objective lens, a tube, or an eyepiece, the parameters
need to be readjusted accordingly.
Zoom/focus link
This function permits the focusing speed to be coupled with the current zoom
value to facilitate focusing on object details. The preselected focusing speed
is automatically reduced when a higher magnification is used.
•
Press the <Magnification> button in the main menu.

The “Magnification” menu is displayed.
•
Press the <Zoom & speed linked> button to activate or deactivate the
zoom/focus speed.

The function is activated when the button lights up in blue.
•
To save the changes, press the button.

The setting is saved for the specific user.
•
To return to the main menu, press the button.

The “Main menu” is displayed again.
