6.13 Shuttle and Find View
Within the S&F control tab of the Shuttle and Find view (Fig. 674) regions of interests as well as points of
interest can be defined. The regions and points can be relocated in the life image after moving the stage.
Defined regions of interest and points of interest can only be relocated within one imaging
session. In case the software was restarted, the positions of the image and of the defined
regions and points are no longer valid.

Options provides settings for the general behaviour of the stage.
•
Use DoubleClick in image to move stage: Moves the stage to the position you have double clicked
on.
General settings for the graphical elements are set using the following features.
•
Keep Tool: Keeps the current tool active. That's helpful if you want to draw in more than one
ROI/POI.
•
Auto Color: Uses a new color for each new element which is drawn in.
•
Snap to Pixel
: Draws in graphical elements using the pixel grid.
Within a snapped image multiple regions of interests (ROI) and points of interest (POI) can be defined
using graphical elements. These ROIs or POIs can be relocated at the scanning electron microscope.
