If the stage is moving in the wrong direction,
invert the direction by clicking on
X Invert
or
Y
Invert
in the
Sample Holder Calibration
field
•
When marker 2 is in position refocus and click
on
Find Marker
in the Position 2 field.
•
The system will propose the position for marker 2 in a
Marker location found
dialog. Confirm the
proposal if the position is correct.
The stage moves automatically to marker 3.
•
Click on
Find Marker
in the Position 3 field and confirm the position if correct.
The calibration is finished. The calibration can be started by clicking on
Restart Calibration
in the
Shuttle and Find
tool window.
b) Manual marker recognition
If the marker on the sample holder is not
recognized or user-defined markers are used, the
marker positions can be set manually.
•
Activate the Acquisition Parameter
Positions
within the Acquisition Parameter list.
•
Click on the
Continuous
button to start
continuous scanning.
•
Move the stage to the first marker.
•
Click on
Snap
to acquire a single image.
•
Activate the
Positions
button in the
Dimensions
control tab (Fig. 183).
•
Click either on the calibration marker or a user-defined marker to set a crosshair in the image and thus
define the position of the marker.
•
Confirm the position by clicking on
Manual
in the
Set Marker Positon
section within the
Shuttle
and Find
tool.
•
If the
Automatic movement to next marker
checkbox is not activated, move the stage to the
second marker and got on as described above.
•
Repeat the same procedure for the third marker.
