Inserting Filters in the Excitation
Filter Wheel 8x mot.
•
Tighten both screws (Fig. 5-9/
1
) on the
excitation filter knob by hand.
•
Open the top side (Fig. 5-9/
2
) and put the
excitation filter wheel (Fig. 5-10/

) on a clean
surface, with the underside facing downwards.
•
Loosen the fixing ring (Fig. 5-10/
1
) of the
wished position using the mounting plate (of
the tool kit) and remove it.
•
Insert the filter (Fig. 5-10/
2
), with the arrow on
the filter edge facing towards the stand (when
mounting it on the table, the arrow is facing
upwards).
If you use several excitation filters, it is
advisable to mount the filters into
adjacent positions.
•
Mount the fixing ring using the mounting plate.
•
Shut the lid and tighten the screws by hand.
