Focusing the reticle
Focusing the reticle is carried out by turning the eyepiece (3). It is recom-
mended that this adjustment is made at a higher magnification level.
The reticle then remains consistently sharply focused over the entire range of
magnification.
Please note that with the Classic Series riflescopes, a simultaneous sharp
focusing of the reticle and the image at high magnifications and target
distances less than 100 m is not possible, since these riflescopes are adjusted
for 100 m parallax-free.
For target distances significantly shorter than 100 m, it is recommended that
a smaller magnification setting is used. Due to the larger depth sharpness at
smaller magnifications, the reticle and image again appear sharp. Even with
longer or shorter target distances, deviations in the point of impact caused by
parallax errors do not occur if aiming through the scope is exactly centered.
Note: A rubber ring (2) is attached to the eyepiece mount to prevent injuries.
Change of magnification (only for the Diavari models)
All magnifications, from the lowest to highest magnification level, allow
infinitely variable setting. Change of magnification is carried out by turning
the changer (4) on the eyepiece support. The magnification levels are marked
by numbers and markings on the magnification changer.
Note: When using at dusk or night:
Turn to the left until it stops – highest magnification.
Turn to the right until it stops – lowest magnification.
Medium magnification is set when the cam of the magnification changer is
pointed upwards.
Inserting/removing the battery
To change the battery (model CR 2032), hold the adjustment knob (5) tightly
and turn the cover (6) to the left (counter clockwise).
Insert the battery with the plus pole up, then screw the cover back on.
Make sure it is seated properly and that the sealing ring is in good condition.
Replace the sealing ring if it is damaged.
Note: If the riflescope is not used for an extended period of time, remove the
battery.
