Connections
Connecting the power supply
The electrical power supply must be located close to the installation
site to enable electrical connection of the CMM. This must be done
before installing the CMM.

data“

The CMM is fitted with a power plug.
• Connect the power plug to the electric outlet provided.

neers
Connection of the power supply is part of the CMM installation pro-
cedure. It may be carried out only by ZEISS service engineers.
The CMM power supply is provided by the control cabinet. A
permanent connection
must be provided for the control cabinet
power supply.
• Connect the control cabinet power cord to the power supply line.
• Protect this connection with a cutout switch.

Connecting the compressed-air supply
The building compressed-air supply must be close to the CMM in
order to be able to connect it to the CMM supply line. This must be
done before installing the CMM.
