Assembly: Insert the spacer onto the objective
as necessary and secure. Push the ring
illuminator up on the spacer until the clearance

The VisiLED ring illuminator for
reflected light darkfield (Fig. 38/

) has
various different darkfield modes
through light segmentation:
Ring and half-ring illumination, 90°
spot illumination, 2-point and 4-point
illumination.
"Rotating" the illumination beam
around the object enables object
structures to be highlighted
independently of direction.
