5. Compatibility
The Zehnder EDT2 Wall-Mounted Touchscreen User Controller is an optional remote room control for use with the EASY
5.0 system, It is for use with:

Zehnder Carma
■
Zehnder Neotime
■
Zehnder Silvertop
■
Zehnder Freetime
■
Zehnder Hexamotion
It is not compatible with the older 3.6 version (and earlier) controllers used in these units.
6. Installation
Step
Description
1
Check that the support (wall) is suitable to accommodate the Zehnder EDT2 Wall-Mounted Touchscreen User
Controller and the power / communication cable.

Position the support plate in the desired location
using a spirit level (or equivalent) and observing
the orientation (indication "UP" with arrow pointing upwards)
see accompanying image:

Mark the position of the 4 drill holes for fixing the support plate to the wall, and the central hole for feeding the
power / communication cable.

Drill the support (wall) taking into account the diameter of the screws and the diameter of the electric cable.

Fix the support plate with the screws.

Connect the wires to the back of the Zehnder EDT2 Wall-Mounted Touchscreen User Controller according to the
wiring diagram (see VII ELECTRICAL CONNECTION).

Fit the Zehnder EDT2 Wall-Mounted Touchscreen User Controller onto the support plate.

Connect the power supply and the communication bus to the ventilation unit.

Activate the connection from the CDL-283 controller.
