Innovative Product Features — Second Stages & Octopus
Balanced Poppet:
Aerodynamic, pneumatically balanced poppet provides
enhanced airflow and easy breathing, regardless of tank pressures.
Super Alloy Valve Spring:
This proprietary, special spring alloy is over
10 times the cost of conventional stainless steels, but has superior ten-
sile strength and corrosion resistance compared to stainless steel. Its high
strength allows us to use fewer coils in the design for uninterrupted airflow
through the second stage.
Elliptical Exhaust Valve:
Dramatically reduces exhalation effort at depth.
Over-size, high flow valve.
Dive/Pre-Dive Venturi Lever:
Diver controlled venturi adjustment lever. This
lever controls the sensitivity of the regulator.
Comfort Mouthpiece:
Specifically formulated dual hardness silicone mouth-
piece is comfortable and soft, yet extremely durable.
